Centre might just as well express its opinion on the projected changes. The 1.8.8. are getting out a fresh edition of their own this year, so uniformity is impossible at present. The only matter of urgency in regard to the 1.8.8., now that the New Zealand attitude on the admission of the United States is settled, is to establish the equality of standing of the British representatives of the four Dominions, and to consider holding the annual meeting of the New Zealand Council earlier eacn year, so as to allow time to send information and instructions to our representatives.
