WEDDINGS OF THE DAY.

FULLERTON— ROBERTSON. The. wedding took place at the residence of her parents, Butland Eoad, Stanley Bay, on Saturday, of- Mies Madge Robertson, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Cueworth, to Robert Fullerton, eldest eon of Mr. and Mrs. Fullerton, of Pencarrow Avenue, Mount Eden. Father Furlong officiated at the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a sleeveless frock of shell pink silk taffeta, made on simple lines with, a full flared skirt, which fell to ankle length, and she carried a bouquet of pink and white. Mies M. Cusworth, eister of the bride, was bridesmaid, wearing powder blue taffeta, with a bouquet to match, and Miss K. Fullerton, sister of the bridegroom, in petunia silk with bouquet to match. Mr. C. Stewart, of Mount Eden, acted as best man. The reception was held at the parents' residence. The bride's mother wore a black figured marocain suit and carried a bouquet of autumn tinte. The bridegroom's mother wore a French black and white ensemble suit, and carried a bouquet of autumn flowers.

HOWIE—PATERSON.

The marriage of Miss Doris Jean Paterson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Paterson, of Patetonga, Hauraki Plains, to Mr. Selby David Howie, younger son of Mrs. and the late Mr. T. Howie, ox Hunterville, was celebrated at St. Church, Remuera, on Wednesday. The Rev. J. A. Thompson officiated. The bride was given away by her father, and wore an ivory crepe satin, with uneven hem, and tiered basque. The pink embroidered tulle veil was held in place with a wreath of orange blossom, and she carried a pink shower bouquet. The bridesmaid was Miss Phyllis Mcßetli. Hydrangea blue and cherry floral ninon was chosen for her frock, the 'blue felt hat having a threading of cherry velvet. Blue and pink flowers were used for the shower bouquet. Mr. Gavin Howie was beet man. The wedding breakfast was served at the residence- of Mrs. Mcßeth, "Dunsinane," Gillies Avenue, Epsom, the bride's mother wearing a navy silk marocain ensemble and hat to tone; Mrs. Mcßeth wore a white and black crepe de chine ensemble, -and a white and black hat; Mrs. G. Howie, steel grey with touches of blue, hat to tone; Mise Beryl Howie wore a powder blue georgette, blue felt hat.

KERBY—POWELL,

A pretty wedding took place last Saturday afternoon in St. Michael and All Angels' Church at Belmont, when Mies Florence Dorothy Powell, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Powell, of Belmont, was married to Mr. Edgar Kerby, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kerby, of Thames. The Rev. S. Piggot conducted the service, which was choral, Mrs. Piggot presiding at the organ. The church was artistically decorated by friends, a light, graceful arch of ferns and white chrysanthemums spanning the aisle, from which hung the wedding bell of pale pink and white flowers. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a graceful frock of ivory chenille georgette, sleeveless, and fashioned with a flared skirt shirred at the waist. A draped sash of the material gave a slight pannier effect. It was caught in front with a diamante buckle. The corsage was arranged with long sprays of orange blossom. The veil of hand-embroidered net fell from a bonnet-ehaped lace cap, with bunches of orange blossom and small pearl ornaments, forming the train. Her bouquet was of white roses, chrysanthemums and ferns. The two bridesmaids were Miss Louie Powell, sister of the bride, and a niece, Miss Rita Rambaud. Their dresses were made alike in salmon pink and lettuce green georgette respectively, full skirts shirred at the waist, and short sleeveless Zouave coatees. Both skirts and coatees were bordered with little tiny frills. Summer felt hats matching the froeks in colour were worn, and their bouquets were to tone. Mr. Harry Kerby was best man, and Mr. Gordon Drummond the groomsman. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, where a wedding breakfast was served for 50 guests, relatives and old friends of the families. Mrs. Powell received wearing a black ensemble of crepe suede piped with white, and a black and white hat. Her bouquet was of crimson dahlias and ferns, and autumn-tinted leaves. Mrs. Kerby, the bridegroom's mother, wore mushroomcoloured crepe de chine gown, black brocaded coat, and black hat and fox furs, and carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. Mrs. Rambaud. the bride's sister, wore electric blue crepe de chine frock and fawn iiat,
