SNOWDEN BUDGET.
CLOSEST SECRECY OBSERVED. LONDON, April 22. The usual speculation is current concerning Mr. Snowden's Budget, involving £800.000.000. which is to be presented on Monday to the House of Commons. The '"Daily Herald" says only land taxation can be regarded as a certainty. Increases in the petrol, tobacco and liquor duties and in the super-tax are mentioned, but these are pure speculations. Even Mr. Snowden's most important colleagues will be in ignorance of his designs until they are disclosed in the Cabinet before he makes his speech in the House of Commons.
