HOTEL LEASE CLAIM.
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT. In our report of the settlement of the claim brought by Wm. George Abbott and his wife against Hancock and Co., Ernest Davie and William Whittaker Warnock on terms which provided for a withdrawal by plaintiffs of all the allegations made and admitting that there was no foundation for their accusations, it was stated that defendants' trustees agreed to the "paying" of accounts between the parties to the trust, instead of to the "taking" of these accounts. No suggestion of paying accounts was made, the agreement of the trustees merely involving tiie preparation of a statement, provided security was given by plaintiffs for the cost involved and provided also that the costs of the-action were paid by plaintiffs.
