TRAFFIC BREACHES.
CHARGES •AT PAPAKURA.

PAPAKURA, Wednesday.
For operating motor lorries -without heavy traffic licenses three owners were to-day fined as follows:—A. F. Cossey, two charges, £4 and costs 10/; Robert Lindsay, £3 and costs 10/; Fred Plows, £2 and costs 10/. . For overloading vehicles, Leonard M. Mitchell was fined £1 and costs 10/, and G. and K. Clark £2 and costs 12/. Plows was also fined £4 and costs 10/ in respect of two of his lorries which travelled in excess of speeds permitted, £1 and costs 10/ for failing to have a rear number plate on one lorry.
A tractor owner, Roy Smith, for operating a tractor on a road without registration as a motor vehicle, was fined £1 and costs 10/. Herbert Irwin had to pay £1 and costs 12/ for driving a lorry without lights.
