SYDNEY, this day.
The township of Baradine, New South Wales, has been practically destroyed by fire. There was no fire brigade in the town, and one shop had to be pulled down in order to check the flames.
; At the height of the fire, a Miss Davis entered her shoe store to recover some of the goods, but was overcome. bbe was, however, rescued. The damage is estimated at about £10,000. ,
