(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)

TE KUITI, this day,

A boy of ten years, Cresci Mrnocheri Orossland, was drowned in a swimming pool yesterday afternoon. The boy was playing with a toy boat when he fell into the water and was drawn towards a weir. He was sucked under, and became entangled in a grating. His body was recovered with difficulty about half an hour later, but artificial respiration was unavailing.
