THE FORESTRY SCHOOL

It seems to me, and must to many others, that Canterbury College's action in regard to Professor Corbin is nothing short of an insult to the professor and to the Auckland University College. I think the local College Council has passed the matter over far too easily; further action of some description should be taken. Why should we allow ourselves to be trampled on by the southern colleges? It was only after years of struggle that the engineering course was allowed by Canterbury to be extended up here, whereas Auckland should have had a full-course school for years. It is about time an Auckland University was formed whereby we would avoid these slights. UXDERGRAD.
