•.. Since the big 'quake nine vessels, including ocean-going boats, have successfully berthed at the breakwater. Coastal boats have usually gone to the inner harbour, but they are now going to the breakwater.
I The successful use of the breakwater convincingly disproves the assertion conf fining damage done at Napier's deepater harbour.
