WRESTLING TACTICS.
I cannot but feel that "Good Old Aussie's" reply to my remarks on wrestling practices has rather wandered from the abstract to the personal. I suggest that my friend and others interested in this matter make a study of wrestling from, say, the Graeco-Roman to the present all-in systems, when they will find that in all save a few isolated provincial styles dumping has been and still is a legitimate movement. There is an abundance of literature on this matter, and I shall be pleased to supply the names of authoritative books to anyone interested. My own personal experience as an amateur and professional athletic club wrestler in California has 'been that heaves, slams and dumps leave less abiding ill-elects than those holds in which excessive body pressure is made iise of. EXPERIENCED FAN.
