PART OF WORKING TIME.
MEALS OF PETROL LORRY DRIVERS. DANGEROUS OCCUPATION. (By Telegraph;— Press -Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. In a decision given to-day the Arbitration Court holds that time occupied by the driver of a petrol lorry in having a meal is part of his working time. There is no custom, the Court says, to support the rule governing horse drivers to drivers of petrol wagons, and further, that the regulations under the Dangerous Goods Act place specific duties and responsibilities on. drivers of petrol wagons during hours of dutv.
