CITY VALUATIONS.
ASSESSMENT COURT SITTING. A total of 978 objections against property valuations was lodged for hearing by the Auckland City Assessment Court, which will open on Monday. Although many of these have been disposed of by negotiation or withdrawal, it is anticipated that there will be a largo number heard. Mr. P. F. Notley, the city valuer, could not say how many would have to be dealt with by the Court, as objections were still being dealt with.
