TE KUITI CLUB'S EVENT. D. WATSON'S SPLENDID RIDE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, Wednesday. In the Te Kuiti Cycling Club's 16-mile handicap race Douglas Watson, youngest, but nevertheless one of the most efficient riders in the club, won off the 2ni 10s mark easily from L. Willison. 2m 30s, while Scottie Peterson, the scratch rider, finished a very fast third. Points for the fastest time this week £0 to reterson. who covered the distance in 4Sm 5Ss. Peterson won the Hewitson Cup last season.
