ARACHNE WINS CUP,
MANAWATU CLUB.
A meeting that may appeal to owners of horses not quite good enough for metropolitan company is the Manawatu fixture, which is to be held at Palmerston North on Wednesday, March 25. The club is distributing £830 in stakes, the chief event being the Manawatu Trotting Club Plate, which carries £200 and silver plate valued at £15. The class is 4.48.
