Revolver Shot in Cathedral of
Notre Dame.
RECONSECRATION NEEDED.
PARIS,. February 12.
'The stillness of .the. cathedral, of Notre Dame was shattered by a revolver shot. Priests hurried to a confessional and found' Mrs/ Antoinette Blair dying. She was .holding in her hand a letter addressed to the Mexican _ ConsulGeneral, notifying him of .her intention to commit suicide. Mrs. Blair, was. the wife of a wealthy Scottish merchant now in Mexico. It is uriderstbod that divorce proceedings were pending against her. The cathedral was closed for three hours during the ceremony of reconsecra* tion.
