N.Z. CIVIL ENGINEERS.
DOMINION CONFERENCE, The New Zealand Society of Civil Engineers will open their annual meeting on Monday. The meeting will be held in Auckland, and is expected to last until the following Friday. Mr. G. T. Murray, of Auckland, is the president. An attendance of between 100 and 117 is expected. Technical papers will be ; read and discussed. On February 20 members of the society will visit Arapuni. and the Huia waterworks, and also the harbour and other local works. The business on Monday will be followed by a conversazione in the evening at the Auckland University College.
