SOUTH WALES COAL DISPUTE.

LONDON, January 18.

The South Wales Miners' Federation at a conference at Cardiff decided by 169 votes to 72 to accept the owners' terms and to resume work on Monday.

Unrlsr the agreement the men's wages are to be unchanged until the end of February with a 7J-hour day. A fresh agreement is to be negotiated by a joint conciliation board with, a new, independent chairman, who is to make the final decision if the two sides disagree.
