ACCHEDITING PROPOSAL
BRIEF COXSJDERATIOX,
A proposal to adopt the principle of accrediting for university examinations was deferred by the- Now Zealand University .Senate to-day until its next annual meeting.
The only discussion .on the question iook place in committee, following a by Mr. F. H. Bakewell, on behalf of a. committee, that no action be taken this session.
Members of the Senate were divided in their opinion whether a report should he prepared for publication in view of the wide public interest in the matter. and it was decided to refer to the executive committee the question of issuing a brief statement.
