The rinks championship in connection with the New Zealand Bowling Association Vs tournament entered its third and final stage, of section pla.y to-day. The weather was sunny and the greens were faster than last week.

Tost-scction play, which will be on the automatic two-life principle, -will commence to-morrow. Winners will play ■winners and losers will play losers and a team loehig two games will be eliminated. The play in the pairs and singles championships will be resumed as uie contestants are released from the rinks competition. . , , At the end of the seventh round Gribble (Rotorua), Lobb.
