Fully 700 people were present and the miniature golf course was well patronised. The Monte Carlo prizes were won by Miss Willeox and Mr... Parsons. A varied programme was presented in, the Majestic Theatre on Sunday even-' ing'to raise-funds for the Maori Queen and the Visitors' Queen in the municipal queen carnival. Items were given by the Kotorua. Town Band and the Kotorua.Maori Choii'i * iSnnus were sung bv Miss Cutting. Miss Penny, Air. T. S. ' .Tonkin. Mr. W. -T. Meredith. Mr. Pask, Mr. Pruss Stewart, Miss Rewa Wa Imsley; vocal, duet, Miss Peuny and Mr. Pask; recitations, .Mrs,'McGregor. The accompaniments were played by I Miss Dorothv'Prietor.
