MARINES KILLED.
TROUBLE IN NICARAGUA
NE W YORK, January 2,
A message from Managua, Nicaragua, says eight United States marines, were killed and two seriously wounded wlien they were ambushed by bandits, who are said to have been operating in a new offensive under the rebel General Sandino.
The! marines have teen, fighting the bandits almost every week for months, but this is the first time for more than a year that they have! suffered heavy losses.
