AUCKLAND'S YEARLY FIGURES LARGE EXCESS OP ARRIVALS. During 1930, 15,530 people landed at Auckland and 12,40(5 sailed "from here, according to the records of the Customs Department of the arrivals, and departures through the port of Auckland. The excess of arrivals over departures was 3130, as compared with 2108 last year, when 15,842 arrived .and 13,734 departed. A great deal of the excess fov this-year is accounted, for, by the December figures,' which show-that'2l2B arrived and only 827 departed.'
