To hid farewell to the old year and ■welcome in; the newya largemumber of dancers attended Dixielands on New Year's Ere,,, the evening a spirit of revelry prevailed, and dancing was continued until a late hour. The music, was very spirited, and all the latest. da,nce; tunes were played, by the orchestra,' wno ; were over 'again, 'evehmg : novelties and streamers were distributed, and the scene presented was.a very bright one. : M.
