SYDNEY, this day.
Fifteen murders,. many _ manslaughter cases, scores of suicides, 100 hold-ups and innumerable burglaries is the police crime summary for New South Wales for 1930, making one of the most formidable on record.
The-hundredth hold-up occurred last night when two men attacked a woman at Waverley, viciously assaulted her, gagged and bound her to a chair, stole 12/ and escaped. The woman collapsed under the terrifying ordeal and was unconscious for some time. ,
