LEAP FROM TRAIN.
MAORI GIRL INJURED. (Bj- Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAURAXGA, Tuesday. Facial abrasions were suffered by a Maori girl, Winnie Hudson, aged 13, when she jumped from a train when it was in motion. . ■ The girl was on the outward express train which did not stop at Tahowa:, where she lives, but wishing to get off at that place she jumped from the train. After the accident the girl was taken to the Tauranga Hospital for treatment.
