FASHIONS ON THE LAWN.

ALEXANDRA PARK. MORE BEAUTIFUL MODELS. SPECTACULAR LAST DAY. Ideal conditions made the last day's racing of the Auckland Trotting Club's meeting for the season.a most pleasant one. Lovely sunshine and a refreshing cool breeze encouraged the wearers of Borne delightful gowns to parade the }awn, many of-them carrying smart little parasols. All tones of green were popular, and these were seen mostly in dainty floral patterns. With the large, cool-looking picture hats which were worn they looked particularly charming. Some trim jumper suite in plain silk materials were noticed, and smaller,-, bi-immecl unrelie'vfed Bangkok and '•Hallif bimtal straw tfiats were worn with these styles. ' ,
