NEW TRADE TREATY.
AUSTRALIAN IN CANADA.
OT'TAWA, December 25.
. The Australian Minister of Markets, Mr. P. Moloney, states that during his iifst visit to Ottawa he explored the whole of the details of Canadian and Australian trade, to forin a. basis for tile proposed new commercial treaty. If a comprehensive agreement can be arrived at a marked impetus will be given to industries' in both Dominions, but it is evident that the whole question requires very careful handling, owing to the consideration to be given to identical interest-. s Mn Moloney says he has now returned to Ottawa to discuss further the points at issue; ;•' '.':' .',
