UNLUCKY GAMBLE.
CLARA BOW CHEQUE STOPPED. LOS ANGELES, October 3. Clara Bow, the film actress, lias the spotlight on her again in a new escapade. While her film company was at Reno, she visited a casino and left a cheque for £2§oo in payment of her losses. The cheque came back marked "Payment stopped." The authorities at the hotel say that she was "introduced by Will Rogers, the comedian. He replies: "You might as well say that I introduced President Hoover to the Senate." The hotel peoplo .eay they cannot sue, and Clara Bow's producer says it is a I private matter.
