HAMILTON CLUB.
The Hamilton Homing Club flew a race from Palmerston Xorth on Saturday, the distance being ISO miles by airline. Sixty birds competed, and they were liberated at 10.14 a.m. in a strong westerly.wind. Considering the conditions the birds made a fair velocity. Miss E. Sutton' was the winner for the third race in succession. The results were :—Miss E. Sutton's "2954," velocity 1185 yds per minute, 1; Miss E. Sutton's " 8900," velocity 1183.12 yds per minute, 2; W. G. Pountney's " 3022," velocity 1183.11 yds per minute, 3.
