CONFERENCE AT DUNEDLV. The conference of the Baptist Union of New Zealand opens in Dunedin next Thursday. Auckland delegates left by last night's express. * The Rev. J. W. King will preside at the opening of the conference, and the Rev. W. E. Lambert is the incoming president. The reports to be, submitted will show that the membership of the Baptist Church in New Zealand now totals 7670. Considering the present financial stringency, it is of interest to note that in the accounts to be submitted, every fund will be shown to be in credit. During tlic year no lees than £0165 has been raised for foreign missions, and the fund has a credit of £121.
