MILKING SHED ACCIDENT

DEATH IN HOSPITAL. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this clay. A boy, Robert Stewart Annesley Fowlie, aged 3 years and 10 months, a son of Mr. S. R. Fqwlie, a farm labourer, employed by Mr. A. E. Harding, Aoroa, while in the rnpking ehed on the lattcr's property had his clothing entangled in the shaft of the engine wheel. He was whirled round and sustained an extensive fracture of'the skull and other head injuries which resulted in his death in the Northern Wairoa. Hospital at 9 o'clock last night. The accident, which occurred, at 5.30, was not witnessed by anyone. An elder brother of the boy started the engine and . heard a. bump, .followed by the stoppage of. the engine. At an inquest a verdict of accidental death according to'the medical evidence was returned. '
