TURF SENSATION.

ALLEGED DOPING.

(Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, September-29. A turf sensation followed the warning off of C. Chapman, trainer of Don Pat, winner of a race at Kempton Park. The Jockey Club alleges that the horse was doped. This is the second case of warning off within a few days. Chapman's friends insist that he is innocent, and assert that he is the victim of a plot. Every effort is being made to track down the perpetrators. The owner, Mr. Geoffrey Gilbey, states that he is prepared to spend his every penny in proving l.is innocence.
