SPRING TIME SERVICE.

At the Methodist Church, Pitt Street, yesterday the annual spring time services Ave re celebrated. The church had been beautifully decorated by the ladies. The Rev. W. Walker preached at both services. In the evening the subject was "Nature Meditation," based upon the text "Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide." "Nature meditation is not a mere idle dreaming," said Mr. Walker, "so much as it is a facing of reality. It' is not an illusion but brings a person face to face with truth." Solos were rendered by Mrs. C. N. Nicholls and Mr. Fryer-Raisher. The choir gave the anthem "We Give Thee Thanks," and appropriate organ music was provided by Professor Charles Moor.
