EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE.
WHO SHOULD PAY FOR ROADS? (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The South Island Motor Union to-day again protested against the action of the Government in charging the whole cost of restoring the West Coast roads damaged by the earthquake in June last year against the South Island account of the Main Highways Fund.
