BANKRUPTS DISCHARGED.

SON'S LEGACY SURRENDERED. ... A legacy, which was subject to a bankirupt's surviving his mother, was surrendered by a motor mechanic, Leonard Murell Zajonskowski, formerly of Marton, now of Auckland, who obtained his discharge from bankruptcy before Mr. Justice Reed in the Supreme Court yesterday. Bankrupt's mother had a life interest in property which would pass to her son after her death, but Zajonskowski had agreed to assign any claim lie had upon this in order to obtain his discharge. He was adjudged a bankrupt six years ago iin connection with a partnership debt of v about £1000. His private debts amounted to £200. The legacy was the only asset. Mr. V. N. Hubble, for the Official [Assignee, said he thought some offer could be obtained from the members of bankrupt's family for the contingent | interest in the legacy. Discharges were also granted to Thomas Brett Cooksey, of Dargaville; aerated .water manufacturer; Herbert Frederick Owen Twigden, of Remuera, accountant; and Vivian Ramsay Smith, of Auckland, medical practitioner, subject to debtor's consent to judgment being entered for !£IOO. ' . Orders for adjudication as bankrupts were made against W. T. Gleeson, of Waipipi, farmer, 011 proof of a debt of ' £103; and D. R. Smith, of Newmarket, .milk vendor, on proof of a debt of £83.
