TE AWAMUTU CLUB. The Te Awamutu Bowling Club was advised bv the South Auckland Bowling Centre oh Thursday night that permission had been granted the club to hold a fullrink tournament- next Easter, which coincides with the tournament at Cambridge. It was decided to hold a one-day fullrink tournament on the local greens on Labour Day, for which 11 teams have already entered. „ .. The opening day of the season was fixed as October 8.

Bond, being in the chair. The balance-sheet showed the bank overdraft to be substantially reduced. Officers elected were:—Patron, Mr. J._ P. Aldridge; president, Mr. A. M. Ryan ; vicepresident. Mr. John Mortland: executive, Messrs. D. McLennan, D. Neagle, F. Read, C. Murphy, and R. J. Bowie; secretary, Mr. G.. C. Armstrong; treasurer, Mt. J. Mortland : auditor, Mr. C. L. Dymock; delegate to Wanganui Centre, Mr. L. Simmonds.
