LAWN TENNIS.

RQTORUA CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Rotorua Lawn Tennis Club was held at St. John's Hall. Pukuatua Street, when the president, Mr. R. G. Bennett, presided over a good attendance. Apologies were received for unavoidable absence from Judge A. G. Holland, Messrs. W. A. McLean and Pollard. The annual report showed the club had a balance of £174 14/10. Trophies had been presented by Dr. S. H. Hay and Mr. R. G. Bennett. The election of officers was : —Patron, Dr. S. H. Hay: president, Mr. R. '-*• Bennett; vice-presidents, Judge A. G. Hoiland. Mr. W. PRINCE OF WALES CLUB.

At the annual meeting of the above club Mr A. B. Floyd presided over a large attendance of members. The president, in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet congratulated the cljib on the very successful past season. Trophies were presented to the winners of the following club events :- 7 championship singles, Miss Parley, men b ehamiponship singles, C. Is. Carston , ladies' handicap doubles, Misses Clark and Farley; men's handicap doubles, l. a. Floyd and Carston; combined handicap doubles Miss Mays and Boagey. The following officers were elected. PATERANGI CLUB.

At the annual meeting of the Paterangi Tennis Club it was disclosed that the finances were satisfactory. It was decided to affiliate with the Waipa West Sub-asso-ciation. and Messrs. Macky and Benton were appointed delegates. The opening rtav "was fixed as October 11, and the following Saturday will be set aside -or ladder matches. „ .. ~ The election of officers resulted.
