DAIRY PRODUCE. PRICES AT GLASGOW. Messrs. Norden and Co. have received to-day the following cable from their principals, Messrs. R. and W. Davidson, Ltd., Glasgow, as follows: — Butter.—l 24/ to 126/; unsalted, 146/ to 150/; whey, 116/; whey, second grade, 114/. Market very slow. Cheese. —Coloured, 73/ to 75/; white, 74/ to 75/. Market quiet. *"' Messrs. A. H. Turnbull and Co. have received the following cable from their London principals, Messrs. W. Weddel and Co., dated London, September 26:— Butter.—Danish, 147/ to 150/ per cwt; New Zealand, unsalted, 146/ to 150/; salted, 124/ to 128/. Market slow. Cheese. —New Zealand: White, 74/ to 75/ per cwt; coloured, 73/ to 75/. Market quiet. Canadian: White and coloured, 78/ to 80/. FROZEN MEAT. THE BANK'S REPORT. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office, under date of 26th inst.: Frozen Meat.—Wethers: The market is improving, and there is a good demand. Ewes: Demand improving; prices are practically unchanged. Lambs: The market is quiet and unchanged;! there is a weaker tendency. Beef: There is a fail; demand. Unfavourable weather is afiecting trade. Wethers, light, s*/id to 6%d per lb; heavy, 4/£ d to 5d per lb; ewes, 3d to 3%d; lambs, twos 8d to B%d, eights to B%d, fours B%d to B%d, seconds 7d to 7%d; ox, hinds 5d to fOl es to 3%d; cow, hinds 4%d to 4%d, fores 3d to 3%d. LONDON RABBITSKIN SALE. BETTER PRICES. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, September 26. At the rabbitskin sales 3200 bales were offered, and 2450 sold. Furriers' does were in moderate demand at steady prices. All other sorts advanced compared with July 24 sales. Furriers' bucks were 10 per cent higher, early winters and incomings 10 to 15 per cent, good hatters 10 per cent, low grades 15 to 25 per cent higher. WOOL SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, ! received the following cablegram ' stant - — CU 1 bouse, dated 26th inWool Sales.—The sales continue. Less business doing for best greasy Merino [ Greasy crossbreds demand centres largely on finer qualities.
