ALL-BRITISH MOTORS.
EXHIBITION NEXT FRIDAY. GOLDEN ARROW ON SHOW. On Friday next the All-British (United Kingdom) Motor Olympia will commence at Cadman's parking station, and will be open daily until Saturday, October 11. The official opening will be performed by the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy on Friday at 8 p.m. There will also be present at the opening ceremony Mr. L. A. Paish, 0.8. E., H.M. Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, and Mr. A. W. Hawley, the newly-appointed representative in New Zealand of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders of Great Britain. The exhibition will be opened for the public at 7.30 p.m. Over 25,000 square feet of floor space will be taken up by the exhibitors, this area being practically equivalent to the ground floor of the wharf sheds in which previous motor exhibitions in Auckland have been held. The feature of outstanding interest at Olympia will be the famous racing car the Golden Arrow, in which the late Sir Henry Segrave created the world's land speed record of 231.36 miles per hour. Only cars, motor cycles and commercial vehicles of entire British manufacture will be exhibited, and there will also be on show marine engines.
