ACCIDENT IN KHYBER PASS

An elderly widow, Mrs. Mary Laing, received head, injuries, which resulted in almost immediate death when she was knocked down by a taxi-cab at the corner of Auburn Street and Khyber Pass at 10.30 last evening. The driver of the . taxi, Mr. J. L. Griffiths, was travelling .ijp Khyber Pass. Mrs. Laing, who was crossing the road, was struck by the right mudguard of the car and thrown heavily to the ground.
