AUSTRALIA'S PRIDE.
WINNING- OF THE ASHES. (Received 11.550 a.m.) LONDON, September 25. "Tell them," Mr. Scullin told Mr. Kelly, Test team manager, "how proud Australia is at their winning the ashes and how proud too we are of the wonderful impression they have left behind in England. Several people have told me of it." 1 Mr. Scullin was chatting with Air. Kelly who, with Oldfield, were the only two of the Test party able to attend the afternoon tea party given specially for the cricketers. It was a last-minute affair and the rest of the cricketers could not be secured, but Mr. Scullin entertained an interesting party of Australian friends. Mr. Kelly had just returned from a fishing excursion at "Raiiji's" Irish castle and reports great fishing and a thoroughly .enjoyable time. .
