PHILOMEL BRIDGE CLUB.
Last "evening members of the Philomel Chief Petty Officers and Petty Officers' Bridge Club with their friends, enjoyed a round of bridge, this being the first of a series. The .executive has a suitable club room and a successful season is anticipated.
Trophies were won last evening by Mrs. Burrows (well-known as the Navy's mascotte) and Mrs. . James, while Mr. Barrett and Mr. Penny were also successful. > • :
