NETHERLANDS SQUADRON.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR VISIT.

The Netherlands Naval Squadron, due at Auckland on October 24, is now at Melbourne. It will leave there for Sydney on September 30, and leaves Sydney on October 11 for Wellington. On October 17 it will be due at Wellington, and a week later, at Auckland. Mr. Morris Gopeland, Dutch Consul, advises that it is not possible for the admiral and his commanding officers to accept any private invitations in Auckland until after arrival here. This _is necessary to avoid complications with the tentative programme now being arranged by the Auckland City Council and city organisations. All private invitations should be made through the Dutch Consul.
