LAMBERT PICTURES.
EXHIBITION IN SYDNEY.
(Received 10 a.m.)
SYDNEY, this day.
The exhibition of the late George Lambert's pictures, which represents the diverse periods of this popular artist's development, is attracting considerable interest in Sydney. Purchases from the exhibition on behalf of the National Gallery, the War Museum Gallery and the Lambert Memorial Fund amounted to £2900, while private purchases brought over £2200, which sums combined are believed to make a record for a one-man exhibition in Australia.
