NORTH SHORE CLUB. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The fifty-seventh annual general meeting of the North Shore Bowing Club was held in the boathouse, King Edward Parade last night. Mr. D. W. McLean presided over a large attendance of, members, who displayed a keen interest in the business. The report and "balance-sfceet, as already published, were adopted. The notice of motion to alter rule 14, moved by Mr. L.B. McCallum, was adopted. The election of officers resulted : —Patron, Mr A Harris, M.P.; commodore, Mr. W. feWar; president, Mr. D. W. McLean; vicepresidents, as last year, with the addition of Mr W Cassells-Brown ; captain, Mr. IS. Kutledge; vice-captain, Mr. W. J. Dean; secretary Mr. L. B. McCallum; assistant secretary, Mr. F. J. No'rris; treasurer, Mr. S. McDuff; management executive, Messrs.
a letter was received from the newlyformed Mercer Regatta Committee, and it was unanimously agreed to fully support the committee's proposal to hold a regatta during the coming season. Votes of thanks were accorded the retiring, captain, Mr. S. Butland, and outgoing officers and supporters.
