CAPETOWN, September IS.
News of .the appointment of the Bishop of Pretoria to the Bishopric of Newcastle caused great surprise. Probably no one will bo more surprised than the Bishop himself, who is on the high seas returning from the Lambeth Conference. The Dean of Pretoria and other dignitaries express the opinion that it is extremely doubtful if the Bishop will accept,the appointment.
