ROUND TABLE CONFERENCE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 11.30 r.m.) RUGBY, September 18. Although nothing is decided regarding the chairmanship of the Round Table Conference on Indian affairs it is generally assumed in London that the Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, will preside at the plenary session. The nature of the task before the conference makes it obvious, howeverthat most of the work will bo done by the committees bf delegates. The expected announcement regarding the members of the Houses of Parliament who will be the delegates at the conference-, and who will be selected from the three Parliamentary parties, will be made within a few days.
