.While walking along Graf ton Bridge on Sunday afternoon, I was stopped by three little girls and asked if I could show them how to find Captain Hobson'e grave. We found it, and they eagerly read the words on the tombstone. I said I thought our first Governor of New Zealand was worthy of a more" fitting monument, and they said they thought so, too. V ' E. E.
