Fairly lieavy polling was the rula at the biennial elections of town boards, which was held yesterday... At Warkworth only one member of the retiring board was re-elected. Following are the results:— I . Papatoetoe. Successful.— J. McFarland, 430; E H Burton, 406; W. J. Nicholson, 395; D. J. Morgan, 394; J. Franklin, 38$; J. C. Bryant, 369; E. H. Nolan, 344. Unsuccessful.—T. R. Smytheman, 334; W. J. Docherty, 328; G. P. Pennell, 287; J. C. Thompson, 280. . Mr. Smythenmn, who was defeated, was chairman of the old board.
