PUKEKOHE COUNCIL.

The Pukekohe Borough Council met on Monday evening, the Mayor, Mr. J. Routly, presiding. Applications to be linked up to the water service were received from, three residents of Paerata Road, and eight residents of Belgium and Valley Roads. The waterworks committee is to investigate and report. Mr. G. T. Parvin was appointed the borough representative on the Pukekohe Technical School board of governors. The council expressed ite opposition to the borough being included in any regional planning area. The works committee reported that the reconstruction of the borough's portion of the Pukekohe-Bombay main highway would be undertaken almost immediately.
